The Cavan Centre Company Limited By Guarantee is a voluntary organisation and registered charity that delivers residential youth and community programmes rooted in community-development principles. Drawing on funding from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth (UBU Programme), the Department of Employment Affairs & Social Protection and Dublin City Council, the centre has, since 1977, helped more than 124,500 individuals who are disadvantaged or marginalised to broaden their personal and social horizons.
Specialising in outdoor education, experiential learning and targeted training, the Cavan Centre provides a safe, residential environment where young people-particularly those from Dublin's North Inner City-can engage in structured activities that foster confidence, teamwork and personal growth. Its programmes are designed to be inclusive, offering high-quality experiences that combine adventure, skill-building and supportive mentorship, all aimed at empowering participants to achieve lasting development.
