Business summary
Breffni Vintage Club Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven organisation for classic-car enthusiasts, centred on County Cavan and the wider Breffni region. The club arranges regular vintage-car runs, social gatherings and commemorative events that bring together members, their families and friends to celebrate motoring heritage.
Key activities include the annual memorial run, which combines a scenic convoy through Cavan town with curated stops at notable private collections, cultural venues such as the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, and historic sites like Redhills. Each outing culminates in a social dinner where a range of awards-such as the Robert Good Memorial award and the Markey Trophy-recognise outstanding vehicles and their owners. The club also organises seasonal openings, for example a recent excursion to Taylor's Art Gallery in County Sligo, and a well-attended New Year's Day run into Cavan town.
Through these events, Breffni Vintage Club provides a welcoming platform for vintage-car owners and admirers to share their passion, preserve automotive history and enjoy the camaraderie of a vibrant, nationwide community.
