Company Description

Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting anyone affected by sexual violence. With a 25-year legacy of listening, believing and empowering survivors, the centre offers a safe, confidential space for people aged 14 and over who have experienced rape, sexual assault or abuse at any stage of life.

The core services include one-to-one counselling, practical information and advocacy for survivors, as well as tailored support for family members, friends and professionals who assist them. By providing a freephone helpline and email contact, the centre ensures that help is always within reach, and it works closely with local agencies to facilitate referrals and coordinated care across Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan.

Through its specialist expertise in trauma-informed counselling and a firm commitment to survivor-centred practice, the SRCC helps individuals move towards recovery, offering hope, dignity and the support they deserve. All donations and fundraising efforts go directly to sustaining these vital services.
