Tramore Development Trust is a community-led voluntary organisation formed in 2000. Its primary objective is to foster a vibrant heart within Tramore by encouraging social integration and harnessing local resources, people and the unique natural environment. The trust identifies opportunities and facilitates change, with a focus on creating an enterprising and prosperous town that protects the environment and builds on community strengths.

The organisation is involved in several projects, including the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens, The Meeting Place and The Coastguard Centre.
