Company Description

Offaly Centre for Independent Living (OCIL) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers a Personal Assistance Service to individuals with sensory and physical disabilities throughout Counties Laois and Offaly. Based in Tullamore, OCIL's core mission is to empower people whose independence is challenged, helping them to reach their full potential and participate fully in mainstream society.

The service is centred on responsive, person-focused support, providing trained personal assistants who work alongside service users in daily activities, community engagement and personal development. OCIL also runs Clochán House, a dedicated facility that offers additional resources and a welcoming environment for members of the community. Through regular events, photo galleries and leader-driven initiatives, the centre showcases the positive impact of independent living and promotes equal inclusion for all.

By listening to emerging needs and fostering collaboration with local leaders, OCIL creates a supportive network that enables disabled people to live more autonomously and confidently within their own homes and communities.
