Askea Community Services CLG

Askea Community Childcare Centre provides a nurturing, play-based environment for children from the age of one up to 12-13 years. The centre offers a comprehensive range of services, including full-day and part-time childcare, a free preschool year, and a dedicated breakfast club. Parents can also take advantage of the school collection and drop-off service, as well as an after-school club that picks up children from both Askea boys' and girls' schools.

Key features of the centre include a purpose-built outdoor play area, freshly prepared non-processed meals, and a focus on learning through fun and exploration. Operating from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30 am to 5.00 pm on Fridays, Askea remains open year-round apart from bank holidays and a short break at Christmas and Easter. In 2014 the centre achieved a Level 4 rating in the Síolta Quality Awareness Process, reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of early years provision.
