Drumlane Community Partnership CLG

Drumlane Community Partnership Company Limited By Guarantee is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the rural parish of Drumlane, County Cavan. Drawing together residents from the villages of Belturbet, Ballyconnell and Killeshandra, the partnership acts as a collective voice for all ages and cultures, with a clear mission to make Drumlane a friendly, peaceful and attractive place for both locals and visitors.

The partnership's activities centre on community development and heritage preservation. It maintains the Drumlane.ie website as a living archive, inviting people to contribute photographs, memories and stories that celebrate the area's monastic roots and the legacy of local families such as the Robinson brothers. Regular initiatives include litter-picking walks, the organisation of seasonal events - for example the Milltown Christmas Lights and the St Columba's Church bicentenary service - and the promotion of environmental stewardship throughout the parish's drumlin landscape and river borders.
