Waterford City and County PPN Company CLG

Waterford City and County PPN Company Limited By Guarantee operates the Waterford Public Participation Network (PPN), a collaborative platform that brings together more than 800 voluntary organisations across Waterford. As an independent conduit between community groups and Waterford City & County Council, the PPN ensures that local voices have a seat at the decision-making table, from special policy committees to wider consultations on local and national issues.

Member groups benefit from a suite of resources - including information on funding, grants, training, insurance, toolkits and templates - and can elect representatives to sit on council-appointed committees. The network also facilitates peer-to-peer learning, enabling groups to share best practice, build partnerships and influence policy that shapes everyday life in the city and county.

By acting as the primary link for the council's community engagement, Waterford PPN empowers citizens, strengthens civil society and helps drive a more inclusive, responsive local government.
