Portlaoise Community & Family Resource Centre Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting resilient families and building a stronger, more inclusive community in Portlaoise and the surrounding areas. Working from an equality and diversity perspective, the centre places children and families at the heart of every programme, offering a holistic range of services that respond to local needs.

The centre's key offerings include family support services, an early learning crèche (Suaimhneas Community Crèche), and a vibrant youth programme featuring the Foróige Club, M & M Youth Group, After Club and IT projects. It also runs a variety of courses and groups such as women's, men's, parent-and-toddler, and meditation groups. In addition, the centre provides low-cost counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, children and families, with a sliding-scale fee structure, as well as specialised play therapy for children facing emotional or behavioural challenges. Confidential gambling therapy and family support are also available.

Based in the Treo Nua Centre in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, the Resource Centre operates Monday-to-Friday office hours and delivers activities throughout the day, evenings and weekends, ensuring flexible access for the community it serves.
