Moville & District Family Resource Centre, established in 2004, is a community‑led organisation that works to empower families and individuals across Inishowen. Funded primarily by TUSLA and supported by the HSE, Donegal County Council, the local ETB, the Inishowen Development Partnership and the EU Erasmus Fund, the centre adopts a holistic, person‑centred approach to enhance emotional, physical and social wellbeing and to promote social inclusion.
The centre offers a wide range of information, advice and practical support to target groups and families, helping them navigate local services, understand their rights and access entitlements. Specialist counselling is available for residents living in homes affected by defective mica blocks, providing both emotional support and guidance on safety planning, document safeguarding and emergency preparation.
