South Tipperary Development CLG is a community-led, not-for-profit development organisation that works to strengthen the social, economic and environmental fabric of South Tipperary. Governed by a voluntary board representing community, farming, business and state-agency interests, the charity delivers projects and programmes that promote social inclusion, environmental sustainability and the resilience of families, individuals and small enterprises across the Clonmel borough district, Cahir and Cashel municipal districts.

The company's core specialisation is empowering local community and voluntary groups by facilitating access to expertise, funding and other resources. It partners with a range of public funders-including the Department of Rural and Community Development, the Department of Social Protection, the HSE, Tusla, Healthy Ireland and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth-to implement initiatives that create jobs, support self-employment, and enhance lifelong learning.
