Missionvale Ireland CLG

Missionvale Ireland Company Limited By Guarantee is the Irish support arm of the Missionvale Trust, founded in late 2008 to assist the township of Missionvale on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Working alongside Sr Ethel Normoyle and her team of care workers, the charity channels resources, volunteers and fundraising from Ireland to address the pressing challenges of disease, unemployment and malnutrition that affect the town's 25,000 residents.

In the most recent year the organisation helped 300 families through 27 distinct projects, ranging from a Nutrition Unit that provides essential food supplies, a Crafters Unit that equips locals with skills and income-generating activities, to Community Gardens that promote sustainable agriculture and food security. Missionvale Ireland also keeps supporters informed through regular news updates, volunteer stories and a vibrant gallery of project outcomes.

By linking Irish generosity with on-the-ground action in South Africa, Missionvale Ireland delivers tangible, community-focused relief and empowerment to some of the most vulnerable families in the region.
