UCD Students' Union Company Limited By Guarantee is the democratic, member-led body that gives every University College Dublin student a voice, a support network and a vibrant social hub. Once you register as a UCD student you automatically become a member, and through elected class representatives you help shape Union policy at the Union Council - the highest decision-making forum within the organisation.

The Union delivers a wide range of services designed to enhance student life both inside and outside the classroom. It runs academic-support initiatives, health and counselling referrals, and a bustling calendar of events such as Freshers' Week mixers, the Great (Collection) market, and the annual Arts & Humanities Mixer. Students can also get involved as volunteers, sign up for the Freshers' Bags programme, or stand for election to the Full-Time and Part-Time Officer team for 2026/27.
