West Cork Distillers is a craft spirits producer rooted in the heart of Skibbereen. Founded in 2003 by childhood friends John O’Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy, the company has grown into a vibrant team of over 140 people who create premium Irish whiskey, gin and vodka for enthusiasts worldwide.

The distillery’s state‑of‑the‑art facility houses sixteen pot and column stills that generate almost 16.5 million litres of alcohol each year, with two dedicated gin stills complementing the core whiskey operation. Eight bottling lines run around the clock, processing roughly 9 000 bottles per hour, while twelve on‑site warehouses can accommodate up to 200 000 casks, ensuring ample capacity for ageing and storage. West Cork’s portfolio includes the flagship West Cork Irish Whiskey, alongside a range of artisanal gin and vodka, all available for purchase online.
