Company Description

Friends of Aengus Company Limited by Guarantee is a fundraising organisation established to support a colleague who suffered a severe spinal cord injury in February 2014. The group raises funds to help cover the cost of building a purpose-built, modified home for the individual in his home village. Its main campaign, #BringHimHome, successfully raised €50,000 towards the build, which began in early 2019 and led to the individual returning home in September 2019. The organisation accepts donations online and via bank transfer to a dedicated Bank of Ireland account, and encourages volunteering and fundraising events. It also aims to build awareness of spinal injuries in Ireland, with volunteers from various counties contributing to its efforts.
