Minceirs Whiden CLG

Founded in 2004 by a dedicated group of Irish Travellers, Minceirs Whiden Company Limited by Guarantee operates as Ireland’s all‑traveller forum. The organisation exists to promote a clear understanding and formal recognition of Travellers as a distinct minority ethnic group, championing pride in identity while seeking full participation and inclusion in the economic, social, political and cultural life of the island.

Minceirs Whiden focuses on raising awareness of the key issues confronting the Traveller community, from the current crisis that leaves many seeing no future to the need for a unified political voice. Through its forum, the group provides a platform for discussion, advocacy and information sharing, encouraging members and allies to join its mailing list and stay informed about developments that affect Travellers nationwide. By fostering dialogue and collective action, Minceirs Whiden aims to ensure that Traveller perspectives are heard and respected across all levels of Irish society.
