Company Description

Cromane Community Council Company Limited by Guarantee is the volunteer-run heart of the picturesque fishing village of Cromane, nestled just off the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. The council's core mission is to champion the village's natural assets - from its world-renowned mussels, oysters and other seafood to its idyllic shingle beach with sweeping views of Inch Beach and the Rossbeigh Peninsula - and to foster a vibrant, inclusive community for residents and visitors alike.

Through a lively calendar of events, the council brings people together with activities such as the Cromane Seafest Sprint Triathlon, the annual Regatta, Blessing of the Boats, and seasonal celebrations like the Tree of Light, Christmas Day Swim and the Darkness-into-Light Walk. Weekly health-focused sessions - yoga, Pilates, HIIT circuits and mind-body classes - and special interest groups further enrich local life. The organisation also produces and shares the Cromane Socio-Economic Plan (2018-2022), outlining strategic development for the area.

By promoting sustainable tourism, supporting local culture and providing a platform for community engagement, Cromane Community Council helps residents and visitors alike to visit, enjoy, live and work in this unique Atlantic corner of Ireland.
