Shearwater Cottage Ltd

Shearwater Cottage Limited is a family‑run holiday‑rental business that has been welcoming guests to West Cork since 1996. Operated by the Nugent family, the company offers two self‑catering properties – a tastefully furnished cottage‑style apartment and a contemporary purpose‑built studio – both situated on an elevated site overlooking Glandore Harbour, just a short walk from the picturesque village of Union Hall and Keelbeg Pier.

The accommodation is designed for comfort and convenience, with fully equipped kitchens, modern amenities and elegantly appointed bedrooms that sleep single and double guests, some with private balconies. Outdoor spaces include manicured gardens and seating areas that provide panoramic sea views, making the homes ideal for families, couples and groups seeking a relaxed, nature‑focused break. Competitive rates start from €40 per night, and the hosts are on hand to provide local advice and any extra assistance required.

Shearwater Cottage Limited serves travellers who value freedom, value for money and a genuine Irish hospitality experience, offering a peaceful base from which to explore the historic sites, secret coves and vibrant towns of West Cork.
