Matei's Salt Cave Ltd

Matei’s Salt Cave Limited is a specialist wellness centre based in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin, situated in Castleknock. The company offers dry‑salt therapy – also known as halotherapy – within a purpose‑built salt cave that recreates the micro‑climate of natural subterranean salt mines. Visitors step into a tranquil environment where salt‑covered walls and floors release negative ions, helping to balance the positive ions from everyday electronic devices and promote a calmer mood.

The core service is a guided “Breathe Salt Room” session, available for individuals or small groups, designed to improve breathing, enhance sleep quality and support overall wellbeing. Halotherapy at Matei’s Salt Cave is reported to fight bacteria and viruses, reduce inflammation, strengthen the immune system, clear mucus and ease respiratory discomfort, while the deep‑breathing component relaxes muscles and alleviates stress. With more than 100 five‑star Google reviews, the centre is praised for its friendly staff and the noticeable health benefits experienced by clients ranging from asthma sufferers to anyone seeking a restorative break.
