Haven Hub CLG

Haven Hub Company Limited By Guarantee is a non-profit mental health organisation dedicated to offering free, compassionate support to anyone experiencing emotional distress or suicidal thoughts. Operating peer-led crisis cafés in Limerick and Ennis, the hub provides a safe, judgement-free space where trained volunteers help visitors with safety planning, sign-posting and genuine listening - no referral required.

Beyond the cafés, Haven Hub delivers a range of no-cost services, including one-to-one counselling with student therapists, group wellness programmes such as Body/Mind Boost and weekly walking groups, and specialised training courses like QPR Suicide Prevention, WRAP and Decider Skills. These courses are open to the public, parents, teachers and community leaders, equipping participants with practical skills to protect and improve mental wellbeing. The organisation also runs peer-support groups such as S.T.A.R. and a Youth Group, fostering connection and resilience across the community.

Volunteers form the heart of Haven Hub, contributing time and empathy to ensure that real people help real people. By combining lived experience with evidence-based practice, the hub stands beside individuals at every stage of their mental-health journey.
