Foodie Save Ltd

Foodie Save Limited is a technology‑driven social enterprise dedicated to fighting food waste and protecting the environment. By partnering with retailers, the company’s mobile app enables stores to log surplus food as individual “food portions”, which are then offered to consumers at a steep discount – typically around 63 % off the normal price. This simple, win‑win model rescues perfectly good food that would otherwise be discarded, while giving shoppers affordable, high‑quality meals.

Through the Foodie Save app, customers can browse nearby participating stores, purchase a discounted portion, and collect it at a designated time. A staff member simply swipes the shopper’s phone to confirm the purchase and hand over the food, making the whole process quick and hassle‑free. The service not only delivers substantial savings to users but also contributes to a more sustainable food system by diverting waste from landfill. Foodie Save’s straightforward, community‑focused approach makes it easy for anyone to join the fight against food waste.
