Nationwide Community Power Company Limited By Guarantee is Ireland's first community-owned renewable electricity utility. It enables households and local groups to switch to clean power that is generated, owned and controlled by the very communities that use it. By offering fair, transparent tariffs with no exit fee, direct-debit payment and monthly billing, the co-op delivers tangible cost savings while keeping profits within the community.

The company is a proud member of REScoop Europe and the Community Power Coalition, networks that champion citizen-led energy across the continent. Through the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) it has secured funding for a series of community solar parks - two in Mayo and Galway under RESS 1, and further projects in Tipperary and Mayo under RESS 2. These 100 % community-owned farms illustrate its core specialisation: developing and operating locally-sited solar generation that feeds clean electricity directly to members.
