Resurgam Choir CLG

Resurgam Choir Company Limited By Guarantee is a leading Irish vocal ensemble founded in 2003 by conductor Mark Duley. Renowned for its artistic excellence, the choir not only delivers richly textured performances of early and contemporary repertoire but also curates the celebrated Galway Early Music Festival, positioning itself at the heart of Ireland's classical music scene.

The group's recent highlights include a first-of-its-kind staging of Handel's *Messiah* in December 2025, presented in partnership with Music for Galway, and the critically acclaimed album *Gentleman Extraordinary* on Resonus Classics. Esteemed publications such as *Gramophone*, *The Guardian* and *Europadisc* have praised Resurgam's powerful lower voices, luminous soprano sheen and the ensemble's confident, sensitively shaped sound.
