TUSSU Company Limited by Guarantee is the independent student union for the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). Its core purpose is to represent the interests of all TUS students, championing their educational and welfare rights while fostering a vibrant, inclusive campus community. The Union delivers a wide range of services, from advocacy and policy input to organising events, publishing research reports such as *The Cost of Getting There* and *No Room for Learning*, and providing up‑to‑date news and updates that keep members informed and engaged.

Operated entirely by elected student leaders—including a President, Deputy Presidents, Vice‑Presidents and regional representatives—the Union ensures that every voice is heard across the university’s multiple campuses. By promoting democratic participation, transparency and professional support, TUSSU helps students achieve their full academic and professional potential, while also encouraging active citizenship within Irish society.
