Backaware Belt Ltd

BackAware Belt Limited is a pioneering Irish health‑tech company that has created the BackAware™ Belt – a wearable device that gives users instant, real‑time feedback on their back position. By linking the belt to a smartphone app, the system displays posture data on‑screen and vibrates when a poor position is detected, helping users sit, lift and exercise with the guidance of a virtual physiotherapist.

The core offering combines the hardware with a subscription‑based library of professional‑led courses and guided workouts, ranging from back‑focused Pilates and mobility routines to sport‑specific strength sessions. Whether a back‑pain patient, office worker, or elite athlete, users can improve core health, boost confidence in lifting, and develop lasting posture habits while having a personal trainer “at home”. The product has earned a 4.9‑star rating on Google Reviews and endorsements from the Irish Times, Prof. Liam Hennessy and Football Ireland’s Declan Considine, underscoring its reputation as a game‑changing tool for safer, more effective movement.
