Loop Head Together CLG is a community‑driven organisation dedicated to enhancing the environmental, agricultural and social resilience of the Loop Head Peninsula. Working across the coastal towns of Carrigaholt, Cross, Doonaha, Kilbaha, Kilballyowen, Kilkee, Lisdeen, Moveen, Moyasta and Querrin, the group brings together farmers, schools, local businesses and residents to develop and deliver cutting‑edge agri‑environmental projects.
The company’s flagship initiative, the SCEENE soil‑carbon enhancement programme, was awarded funding under the European Innovation Partnerships’ Environmental Sustainability call and forms part of Europe’s Mission Soil. Through the Loop Head Living Lab, the organisation pilots sustainable farming practices, climate‑education programmes such as “Awareness to Action”, and governance workshops for community groups. Their work has earned national recognition, including two IPB Pride of Place awards and a Climate Action Award for the Hemp4Soil project.
