WEEE2TREE DESIGNATED ACTIVITY COMPANY is an industry‑led initiative that turns the growing challenge of electronic waste into a positive environmental legacy. By channel‑ling funds from the WEEE (e‑waste) sector – notably from partners such as Electronic Recycling and KMK Metals Recycling – the company finances the creation and management of native Irish woodlands. These newly planted forests not only sequester carbon generated throughout the cradle‑to‑grave life‑cycle of electronic equipment, but they also enrich biodiversity, improve air and water quality and provide welcoming recreational spaces for the public.
