Lough Mountain Farm Ltd

Lough Mountain Farm is an organic farm producing premium grass-fed beef and lamb, raised in the Slieve Aughty mountains. The farm is run by the owner and his wife, based on principles of not exploiting people or nature, and takes what the land and animals naturally give. The Angus and Galloway beef cattle have access to grazing every day of the year, with a breeding programme based on the animals' abilities. Lamb is produced on slopes overlooking Loughatorick lake, where lambs forage on native flora before being fattened on the farm's best pastures; additional lambs are bought from another organic farmer with the same ethos. The company sells its produce through a shop offering mixed beef boxes, sides of lamb, and whole lambs.
