Blacksod Sea Safari Limited is a family‑run adventure company that offers guided wildlife tours along Ireland’s spectacular west coast. Based in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way at Blacksod Bay, County Mayo, the business draws on a century‑long fishing heritage of the Keane and McIntyre families to deliver authentic, environmentally‑focused sea safaris for families, adventurers and nature lovers.

The fleet comprises two charter boats and two high‑speed RIBs, enabling a range of experiences from the three‑hour Island Hop Wildlife Sea Safari – which visits the lighthouse at Faulmore, the South Island and the seal colony at Duvillaun – to the four‑hour Inishkea Islands Experience that explores the remote, abandoned islands off the Mullet Peninsula. Other popular options include the Coastal Explorer Wildlife Watching tour, a full‑day Gone Fishin’ sea‑angling charter, and the forthcoming Four Lighthouses of Erris expedition. All tours are run daily from April to October, with capacities of 16‑24 passengers, and are designed to showcase the Atlantic’s thriving seabirds, dolphins, seals, basking sharks and, on lucky days, whales.
