Briarhill Veterinary Clinic is a modern, purpose‑built small‑animal hospital serving the Galway community since 2009. Founded by UCD graduates Riona Mac Eoin and Ruth Harkin, the practice prides itself on delivering friendly, professional care to pets of all sizes – from Great Danes to dwarf hamsters – in a stress‑free environment with separate dog and cat wards.

The clinic holds “hospital status”, the highest accreditation awarded by the Veterinary Council of Ireland, and offers a full suite of services including health checks, vaccinations, parasite control, spaying and neutering, microchipping, pet passports and emergency cover. Advanced diagnostics are available on‑site, such as digital radiography, ultrasonography, ECG, blood and urine analysis, as well as a fully equipped operating theatre and isolation unit. Ongoing efforts are being made to achieve feline‑friendly accreditation from the International Society of Feline Medicine.
