The Verida Project CLG

The Verida Project is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to reshaping how mental health is understood and supported. It combines research into depression, anxiety, suicide risk, and social pressures with practical outreach programmes in arts, sports, outdoor adventure, and culture. The organisation focuses strongly on young people, helping them express themselves, build resilience, and find community, while also supporting adults through research-driven interventions and group engagement. Its divisions include Verida Active, a youth programme offering sport, outdoor adventure, and wellness activities; Verida Creative, which uses music, arts, and culture for healing and self-expression; Verida Insights, a research wing conducting surveillance studies and community research; and Verida Education, which trains people to recognise and respond to mental health challenges. The Shared Minds volunteer programme supports research, events, and outreach. The organisation also runs the Pulse Festival, a two-day fundraiser in Enniscorthy featuring music, food, family activities, and wellness zones.
