Tonnta Company Limited by Guarantee is a forward-looking vocal ensemble dedicated to the performance and promotion of contemporary music-theatre. Drawing on a core group of versatile singers, Tonnta collaborates with leading composers and artists to bring new, often experimental works to the stage - from Jennifer Walshe's *Ireland: A Dataset* and Ann Cleare's *One Here Now: A Sonic Theatre* to Karlheinz Stockhausen's pioneering *Stimmung*, which they were the first Irish ensemble to present. Their repertoire spans concert hall premieres, interdisciplinary installations and festival programmes, including appearances at Diatribe's Éiríocht in Berlin, the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and Ireland's National Concert Hall.

The ensemble's specialisation lies in bridging vocal performance with visual and theatrical elements, working alongside creators such as Niamh McCann, Iarla Ó Lionáird and Andrew Hamilton. By commissioning, rehearsing and delivering high-quality, site-specific productions, Tonnta offers audiences fresh, thought-provoking experiences and provides composers with a skilled platform for realising ambitious new works.
