Irish Timber Frame Manufacturers Association CLG

The Irish Timber Frame Manufacturers' Association (ITFMA) is the recognised trade body for Ireland's timber-frame manufacturing sector. Established as a company limited by guarantee and operating without share capital, the association brings together all full-member manufacturers under a single, democratically elected board, ensuring that voting rights are not tied to turnover. ITFMA's core purpose is to promote the benefits of timber-frame construction and to provide a unified voice for the industry on both national and international platforms.

ITFMA offers a suite of resources tailored to the whole construction supply chain. For builders and developers it highlights timber-frame systems as a fixed-cost solution, whether supplied alone or as a complete supply-and-erect package. Architects and engineers are presented with the design advantages of timber construction, helping them integrate sustainable, high-performance structures into their projects. By fostering collaboration among manufacturers, developers, architects and engineers, the association helps drive innovation, quality standards and market confidence throughout Ireland.
