Sustainable Projects Ireland Company Limited By Guarantee operates the award-winning Cloughjordan Ecovillage in County Tipperary, recognised as the settlement with the lowest ecological footprint in Ireland. The ecovillage demonstrates how regenerative living can thrive alongside nature, offering more than 50 low-energy homes and work units, a biomass-fuelled district heating network, and a member-owned community farm that supplies organic produce for residents and visitors alike.

The organisation specialises in place-based education, delivering immersive sustainability and regeneration programmes for schools, community groups and corporate teams. Regular guided tours are held each first Sunday of the month, and the site also provides a green enterprise centre, high-spec broadband, and an eco-hostel for guests travelling by train. In addition, Sustainable Projects Ireland is actively expanding the community, with plans to accommodate 75 further households on its 67-acre site of allotments, farming land and woodland.
