Ballymote Family Resource Centre CLG

Ballymote Family Resource Centre (FRC) is a community-driven charity operating in the North West region from Ballymote, County Sligo. Its core mission is to empower individuals and families who experience disadvantage or marginalisation, helping them strengthen family functioning and realise their potential through active participation in a wide range of programmes.

The centre offers a diverse portfolio of services, including Pilates and other health-focused training, children's drama classes, counselling and play-therapy, as well as parent-guardian and toddler groups. It also runs specialised initiatives for youth creative activities, support for those distressed by health issues, victims of domestic trauma, and self-development programmes for women, men and fathers. In addition, the FRC promotes inclusion for Travellers and LGBTQ+ members, provides early-child development support, and collaborates with local, statutory and voluntary agencies to broaden its reach and impact across the community.
