Westport Family Resource Centre CLG

Westport Family & Community Resource Centre (Westport FRC) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers family-support and community-development services across Westport and its surrounding areas. As one of 121 Family Resource Centres operating nationally, Westport FRC works to build a connected community founded on equality, inclusion and human-rights principles, empowering individuals and families to participate fully in local life.

The centre offers a range of affordable, confidential services, including one-to-one counselling for adults and adolescents, and runs community-driven projects that bring volunteers and residents together to address local needs. In addition, Westport FRC provides affordable meeting-room hire in the town centre and relies on a dedicated team of volunteers who help manage its programmes. By championing transparency, empathy and good practice, the centre strives to challenge discrimination, promote accessibility and foster a supportive environment for all who seek its help.
