Hour Timebank CLG

Hour Timebank Company Limited by Guarantee runs Ireland's largest time-banking platform, a community-driven network where every hour of help you give is worth an hour you can claim in return. Members post offers and requests - from guitar lessons and tool-sharing to gardening advice and language tutoring - and connect through local hubs, interest groups and online events. The site also provides volunteering opportunities, a resource centre, leaderboards, badges and an AI-assistant to help users navigate the platform.

The service is open to anyone across the island, with a 500 km radius that effectively covers all of Ireland. By facilitating skill-swaps, peer-learning and mutual support, Hour Timebank helps people build social capital, reduce costs and strengthen neighbourhood ties, all while treating every contribution with equal value. Whether you're looking to teach, learn, lend equipment or simply meet like-minded neighbours, the platform offers a simple, inclusive way to turn time into a shared currency.
