Opera Workshop CLG

Opera Workshop is Limerick's resident opera company. It is committed to commissioning new works, re-exploring familiar opera, and producing productions that surprise, challenge and entertain audiences across Limerick and neighbouring counties in the south of Ireland. The company aims to develop cross arts and community projects to create fresh perspectives for performers and for members of the public new to opera. It also aims to develop training and development opportunities for professional performers, voice teachers, directors and those seeking to develop their skills in opera. Opera Workshop has created work for film, made to measure opera productions, scratch performances, in-depth research and development, and enjoys community and outreach work in the Mid West. Its activities include a community connect programme, professional development, and upcoming and past performances.
