The Walls Project CLG

The Walls Project CLG is a social-enterprise dedicated to bringing large-scale public art to the streets and spaces of Ireland. Working through four core pillars - the Waterford Walls Festival, commissioned works, artistic exchanges and collaborations, and community-focused educational outreach - the organisation creates vibrant, site-specific installations that both beautify the built environment and spark dialogue.

Through its commission service, The Walls Project delivers public and private art pieces across the country, tailoring each work to the character of its location. The Waterford Walls Festival showcases these collaborations, turning whole neighbourhoods into open-air galleries. Complementary workshops and outreach programmes engage schools, community groups and the wider public, fostering creative skills and a sense of ownership. International exchanges further enrich the practice, linking Irish artists with peers abroad and expanding the cultural conversation.
