Cavan Arts Festival Company Limited by Guarantee is the charitable organisation that brings the annual Cavan Arts Festival to life each May. Based in the heart of Cavan Town, the company curates a magical four‑day and night celebration of visual art, music, performance, theatre, circus, digital work, installation, film and anything in between, offering audiences and creators a vibrant platform for contemporary culture.
The Festival runs a regular call‑out for artists, inviting proposals for the 2026 programme with a clear deadline of 5 pm on 9 January. In addition, it runs the “Space & Time to Create” residency – a joint initiative with Motion Chapel and Rosorcas Festival of Circus Arts – which provides a week‑long creation residency, rehearsal space and a paid work‑in‑progress showcase for emerging outdoor projects. By supporting both established and emerging practitioners, the company nurtures artistic innovation while delivering a diverse, community‑focused event.
