Save Roscam Peninsula Company Limited by Guarantee is a community-driven organisation committed to safeguarding the unique archaeological, cultural and ecological treasures of the Roscam Peninsula. Working closely with residents, planners and local authorities, the group focuses on influencing the Galway City Development Plan 2023-2028 to ensure that historic sites-such as the Roscam Round Tower, the Roscam Folly and over two dozen recorded monuments-are protected, and that the peninsula's valuable green network and EU-designated habitats (the Galway Bay SAC and Inner Galway Bay SPA) are preserved for future generations.
