Creevy Activity Hub CLG

Creevy Activity Hub CLG is a community recreational and sports facility located at Creevy National School, Ballyshannon, County Donegal. The hub’s astro-turf pitch is now open and available for bookings, catering to groups of friends and clubs seeking pre-season training space. The organisation has completed phase one of its development and plans further facilities, including a 65m by 40m astro pitch with fencing and flood lighting, a 400m walking and running trail, a multi-use games area lined for tennis and basketball, changing facilities and storage, a community garden, and an outdoor games area for activities such as boules and chess. The project, designed with an architect, will directly benefit the 231 pupils and staff of Creevy National School, as well as local clubs and groups that use the facilities outside school hours. Planning permission has been approved, with the development costing in the region of €650,000, funded through government grants, initiatives, and fundraising ventures.
