Slí Cholmcille Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven organisation dedicated to creating and managing a modern pilgrimage trail that follows the historic footsteps of St Colmcille (Columba). Based in the heart of Donegal, the charity develops a network of mapped routes that link key spiritual and scenic sites from Glencolmcille through the North Sperrins and the Bann, ultimately reaching the island of Iona in Scotland.

The core offering is a series of guided walking experiences, the flagship being the 18 km "Slí 2025" walk on 7 June 2025, which leads participants from Creeslough to Gartan. The walk is designed for both solo travellers and groups, providing safe adventure with certified guides, regular information stops, and transport back to the start point. Tickets are priced at €20 in advance (€25 on the day) and the event includes practical advice on clothing, water, and weather preparedness.

Beyond individual walks, Slí Cholmcille promotes self-guided exploration of the trail's highlights - from the coastal beauty of Tory Island to the wilderness of Glenveagh National Park - allowing walkers of all abilities to experience the spiritual and natural richness of north-west Ireland at their own pace.
