Tiny Elephant Limited is a social enterprise based near Cloughjordan Ecovillage, created by a family with backgrounds in finance and the non-profit sector. The company’s mission is to spark climate action and awareness by helping people take small, impactful steps toward a more fulfilling way of life, combining expertise in growing food, green finance, and innovative solutions. It is certified by People & Planet First and is part of Good Market.

The company offers three main services. It cultivates oyster mushrooms, testing a closed-loop, zero-waste model using mushrooms, worms, and compost to regenerate soil. It provides green bookkeeping and finance literacy support to help local families, communities, and businesses manage their numbers with a sustainable and ethical approach. It is also developing educational resources and learning experiences for mushroom growers and individuals interested in permaculture, circularity, design thinking, and regenerative practices. Tiny Elephant is currently working on a mobile circular economy demo hub to demonstrate recycling, zero waste, and local food production in a practical way for communities and schools.
