Bar Monkey Calisthenics CLG

Bar Monkey Calisthenics Company Limited by Guarantee is Ireland’s original calisthenics club, founded in 2014 and now the nation’s home of freestyle movement. The club blends strength, skill and a touch of chaos, offering a social‑focused environment where training feels more like play. As the official Irish representative of the World Street Workout Calisthenics Federation, Bar Monkey’s head coach Jamie Geraghty made history as the first Irish athlete to compete in the WSWCF World Cup Super Final in Hong Kong.

The club runs a comprehensive programme of memberships, group classes, seminars, after‑school sessions and even birthday parties, all delivered in small, ego‑free groups. Coaches are active athletes who provide clear cues, safe spotting and smart scaling, guiding members from their first hang on the bar to their first muscle‑up. Facilities at the two buzzing locations in Gorey (Co. Wexford) and Ballybrack (Dublin) feature the largest dedicated indoor calisthenics space
