Barna Opticians Ltd

Barna Opticians is a locally‑owned independent practice that has been serving the Barna community since 2005. Specialising in comprehensive eye care, the team provides thorough eye examinations using cutting‑edge OCT technology to detect early signs of glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration, as well as routine vision assessments for adults and children. Their child‑friendly testing ensures young patients receive accurate diagnoses, and eligible families can benefit from HSE vouchers for glasses.

Beyond examinations, Barna Opticians offers a wide range of eyewear and contact lens solutions. Their in‑store collection features the latest designer frames, catering to both professional and fashion‑forward tastes, while their contact lens portfolio includes rigid gas‑permeable, soft, daily and monthly disposable options. The practice prides itself on personalised after‑care, guiding patients to specialist services when further investigation is required.

Conveniently situated in the heart of Barna, County Galway, the practice combines expert clinical care with a stylish retail experience, making it the go‑to optician for individuals and families seeking quality vision solutions in a friendly, community‑focused setting.
