Meath Athletics Foundation CLG

Meath Athletics Foundation CLG is an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation supporting athletes connected with affiliated athletics clubs in County Meath. Its mission is to reduce financial barriers and enable progression from local to provincial, national and international competition. The Foundation provides targeted help for athletes representing Meath clubs, including travel and accommodation for key competitions, coaching, strength and conditioning, camp support, specialist equipment and services. It also supports club and coach development, such as coach education, shared equipment and facility initiatives, and promotes inclusive pathways across juvenile, junior, senior and para-athletics. The Foundation works collaboratively with Meath Athletics County Board and affiliated clubs to complement existing supports. It is governed by a voluntary Board of five Directors, operates under Irish company law as a Company Limited by Guarantee, and upholds transparent use of funds, published support criteria and annual reporting.
