Elevation Ensemble is a group of professional musicians based in Galway, formed in 2025. The group premieres a new multimedia presentation, The Pale Blue Dot, on its first nationwide tour in autumn/winter 2026. The presentation reimagines NASA’s Voyager Golden Record from 1977, featuring new music for strings and electronics by Irish composers, performed alongside selections from the original record, with video projections. The company is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland and is a company limited by guarantee. It plans to launch a public portal for sharing ideas about the project and will tour further in 2027, inviting festivals and venues to make contact.
