Ballyheane Community Sports Club Company Limited by Guarantee operates Ballyheane Community Centre, a community-owned, not-for-profit organisation serving Ballyheane, Co. Mayo, and the surrounding area. The centre exists to bring people together through sport, activity, and shared community life. Its facilities include a community hall available for events, meetings, training, and celebrations; a full-size all-weather astroturf pitch for football, training sessions, and club matches; a brand new handball and racquetball court; and a spacious car park. The organisation also runs Ballyheane Buttercups, a community-run childcare service offering full-day care, six care rooms including school-age care, ECCE funding, and an experienced team of educators. Activities include handball, racquetball, walking, yoga, tai chi, bingo, ceili, an active retired ladies group, and Foróige.
