Snugboro United Football Club Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-focused soccer organisation founded in 1986 and based just outside Castlebar. The club runs a full programme of teams from under-12s through to adult sides, catering for both boys and girls. With a proud history of local competition in the Mayo League, Snugboro United provides players of all ages the chance to develop their skills, enjoy regular fixtures and experience the camaraderie of team sport.
In recent seasons the club has celebrated a string of on-field successes, including a 3-1 win for the Boro Masters Ladies in the Hurst Heating and Plumbing Women's Masters Cup and multiple selections in the Mayo League Team of the Year. The club's modern clubhouse, officially opened by Taoiseach Enda Kenny in 2016 to mark its 30th anniversary, serves as a hub for training, social events and the PLAYR-FIT online club partnership, further enhancing fitness and community engagement for members.
